I never understood how invading two countries that did not attack the US or threaten the US in any way, was protecting our Freedom.
Our Freedom to take from other countries, sure... I can see that. The Freedom to be the world's Bully, and lash out in anger even if it's at the wrong people.
I would like to Freedom to:
a) not be pestered by Religious nuts.
b) have good healthcare.
c) smoke a Joint once in a while.
d) travel the world and be proud of my country.
e) not have Corporation and Washington scheme to harm me with their greed. Example: Whats wrong with Standards and Government Restrictions to protect People. It apparently cuts into Corporations income and their ability to rape the American People.
That is the Freedom I want. Not to blow up people/building on the other side of the world. I dont blame those Insergents for killing US Soldiers. If a Foriegn government invaded and occupied the US, me and many other Americans would do the same thing, and fight the invaders.
And, people should keep their imaginary sky daddy (god) to themselves. It's not rational. God is a political and social tool people invented. Its true. But if thats what you want to beleive, go ahead, just keep it to yourself.
